WEATHER
The climate of Pantanal is the Continental Tropical, characterized by high temperatures throughout the year, with averages at 17 ºC. There are two well-defined seasons. The rains are more accentuated during the summer and more scarce during the winter, at the time known as drought. Unlike the northern part, in the South Pantanal, the waters begin to rise in May. The period between July and September, it is when there is the greatest chance of taking dry and trafficable roads.
WHAT TO DO:
During the seasons the landscape can change a lot, it is possible to visit during the rainy season (which can be very interesting) or during the drought. In the dry months, you can travel along Estrada Parque Pantanal, which in the rainy months literally turns into a navigable river.
