Considered by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage and Biosphere Reserve, the Pantanal is the largest continuous wetlands in the world. It is so immense and diverse, we can get to know it in two parts: North Pantanal and South Pantanal.The North Pantanal, is located at the south of Mato Grosso State where the famous Transpantaneira regional road begins, the beginning of an adventure in the wild.Nature calls, come meet one of the treasures of Brazil!

The climate of Pantanal is the Continental Tropical, characterized by high temperatures throughout the year, with averages at 17 ºC. There are two well-defined seasons. The rains are more accentuated during the summer and more scarce during the winter, at the time known as drought.Between December and February, it usually rains very hard. The North Pantanal floods first, beggining February or March, and then waters begin to decrease in a month or two. The driest time of the year is from April to September. From October to March, the hottest and most humid period, temperatures rise and the rains become more frequent. December and January are considered the wettest months.

Traveling the 145 km of Transpantaneira is perfect for getting to know the landscape of the region, seeing alligators by the river and flocks of birds. Maybe also find the jaguar, close to the Cuiabá River.
